LAURA SCHULTZ

I am an aspiring environmental journalist and communicator who recently completed my professional master's in journalism from UW–Madison's celebrated School of Journalism & Mass Communication in December 2020.

 

Previously, I earned a bachelor's degree in sustainability studies at the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign. It was at UIUC that I first dabbled in environmental journalism, writing for The Green Observer and Q Magazine.

During my time at UW–Madison, I also worked on the communications team at the Wisconsin Energy Institute, the university's hub for clean energy research.
